I remember as a schoolboy my worst nightmare was as follows. I would wake up, do my morning routine, ride the bus to school, go to home class, and then in morning Chapel snap out of my haze and realize I am standing in front of 500 of my schoolmates with out my pants on. Ahhhh!
I am happy to report that I always made it to school with my pants on. But apparently I have new nightmares. It's been 13 years since I took my SACE high school exams, 10 years since I took a university exam, and yet apparently I am still haunted by their memory.
For example, last night I dreamed the I showed up completely unprepared for my Industrial Chemistry 4 final exam. Apparently I chose to ignore swotvac (a week of study vacation given to study for finals) and try wing my way through. I suspect most of you have little idea of what Industrial Chem involves but the massively overstuffed folders stored in my parents garage attest to the hours of work involved in problem solving and notes to read for each Semester's class. Needless to say, I woke up with my heart pumping. Another favorite is dreaming about the same lack of preparation for a Maths exam.
I think I need to go to sleep reminding myself that I have passed all my exams...

Happy Birthday Jenee
Yesterday was Jenee's Birthday! Happy 25th darling! You are one beautiful woman and everyday I get to wake up next to you I am reminded of how blessed I am. I can't wait for this next year, to meet our little girl and start this new chapter in our lives.

Concerned Women for America
My cousin Rebekah works for the namesake of this post. It is a Christian organization who's background is "...the nation's largest public policy women's organization with a rich 30-year history of helping our members across the country bring Biblical principles into all levels of public policy. There's a cultural battle raging across this country and CWA is on the frontline protecting those values through prayer and action."

"She's a soccer playa, she is, she IIISSSS..."
Yes that is a quote, Billy Madison of course....Now to the point of that quote :). Though the winter Olympics are over, apparently the Uterus Olympics have just begun! Our little Trixie (Apparently I need to make clear that we aren't actually naming her that but what a great nickname Aunty Heath!) has been kicking and pretty sure flipping all over the place! Though we haven't seen any protruding hands or feet yet, my stomach has changed shapes a few time I am pretty sure. The nurse warned us at our appointment that the Placenta (eewww I know) is at the top and we probably wont feel much for a bit. Monday, March 1st I kept feeling goofy feelings and didn't think much of it, then it dawned on me to push a little harder on my tummy and low and behold... CONTACT! I yelled for Nate and within minutes he felt it too. Well something has gotten into her because she is going nuts now. Pretty sure today she is doing somersaults because I feel like I am on the down hill part of a roller coaster every few minutes. She is a synchronized swimmer!
And don't think we wont! Here it is! I know pink is a bit ridiculous but Nate, the loving compromising husband he is, let me have it even though if we have a boy next I will have to figure out how to cover it. Hey I am pregnant leave me alone :) (Only have 4 months to take advantage of that!)
On another note, there is so much going on right now that we are just going non stop. Nate has proven to be quit the juggler as he deals with his preggo needy wife (trying not to be to bad), work, personal stuff, and getting ready for baby. Poor guy needs a vacation from life at this point! We will have to work on that for him. We have a crib set up and some clothes put together. I ordered our carseat which was REALLY exciting. Can't wait to get that.
We may just have to hook it up for the heck of it.

War Wounds
Last Friday at Crossfit I had to do a lot of rope climbing and this is the result of muscle fatigue. After the third round of 1 min wall ball, 1 min rope climb, 400m run my strength was gone and as I tried to control my descent down a 20ft / 5m climb I lost control and as a result received this lovely rope burn and two small blisters on my hands. The blisters I can deal with, but this rope burn is lovely, it breaks open, bleeds and stings like no-one's business in the shower...

I have to wonder, why am I paying for this? (Because I love it...)
