V-Day

Today was the dreaded V-Day. I'm not talking about anything to do with WWII, rather the dreaded Vet-Day. Jenee and I took the day off to run errands including the vet. It is interesting how much personality I noticed in the cats. Marble actually preferred to be crammed into her little carry bag so she could be closer to Jenee. Sable likes a solid carry case. Marble freaks out in the car, Sable took a nap, Marble doesn't mind the exam, Sable would rather die. So funny. Once we got home we had the usual swag of hissing from Sab's but now she's calmed down and has weaseled her way onto my lap. At least we didn't have to get shots! Not our favorite.

We also went to the DMV to do our renewal which turned out to be a bigger ordeal than we were expecting. Apparently we needed new insurance and had to get a document from Texas to register the car. Sigh. The awesome thing was to see God's soverignty carry us through. We got a better deal on insurance, and renters insurance, and the Document is on its way so there shouldn't be any problems! Praise Him!

Our First Medieval Faire

Well, this weekend, Jenee and I attended our first ever medieval fair, the Hoggtowne Medieval Fair in Gainesville. It was a fun outing with Rob, Sarah and Meredith. Now, don't get me wrong, I appreciate all the effort some fans go to, but I don't remember pirates and samurai sword wielding, trench coat wearing ninjas in the dark ages, correct me (in the comments) if I am wrong. Anyway, fun day, you should go sometime. I even made a friend with a nice lady with a Nikon D3 (shibby) and she let me play with it for a while. We're best friends now...well, maybe not best friends, but she was very kind to let me play with her expensive camera. Slideshow below!
Having fun :-)
