For the last few weeks I more than Jenee have been stressed because this year I was due to submit my I-751 for USCIS. I say that like most of you know what it is, in short, it's a form that tells immigration that I am still (very happily) married to Jenee, we live together, have mutual accounts, assets etc, and therefore the immigration department can remove the 2 year conditions from my greencard!
Well, yesterday (Monday) we finally got the remaning documents together, sorted it in the correct order, scanned into an electronic format for back up purposes and sent to the correct address. Not with out some difficulty though. I can't believe how difficult it was to get a passport photo. The first place was so busy, the lady very honestly said she wouldn't be able to help me for an hour, the next place was using such a cheap and crappy camera that my picutre had a lovely magenta cast that couldn't be removed, the post office that advertised they did passport photo's was lying and finally the last place we tried were able to do it with no problems.
Jenee and I were so relieved (like I said, mostly me, Jenee wasn't stressed at all - stupid sanguine's and their "It's and adventure!" attitudes) that we decided to have an early dinner at 4:30 as a reward! Feels good to be done.
